Zarathus' work explores fantasy and distopian themes. Familiar and fierce creatures are pictured bound and stretched into almost showmen-like displays. Inspired by iconography, Zarathus draws symbols realized into flesh.
I am an artist mainly into in creature concepts and monstery work, which is part of where my interest in the goetia draws from. I like to express my ideas through a variety of mediums, both 2d and 3d to explore different ways to bring otherwise non-existent creatures to life.
In addition to illustration, Zarathus makes masks and custom dolls and figures.
